The International Invitational was the last BIG event of the year under WOMZA. This was the event to leave your mark on before all the riders disappear into the secret training camps ahead of the 2014 season.
If there was anything to read into this event for Marcus, was that he is in a zone above all at the moment and a dominant 3 heat wins out of 3, left the competition scratching their heads. Probably the most dominant performance Marcus has had all year and won with an ease that almost made it look boring.
Marcus absolutely loved the Dirt Bronco track and the way it was prepped. Fast becoming the top rider when it comes to ruts, the rutty and slightly muddy Bronco track suited him to the ground. He said his KTM was unbelievable and helped him to victory.
Marcus will focus his attention on the remaining 2 regional champs and hopefully the regional title. Thereafter, he will be at a training camp in Cape Town with a top European coach to get ready for his local and international season in 2014.
